August continues to fly by - I can't believe it is already getting a bit cooler outside and the leaves are beginning to fall.

The first half of this month brought more challenges than expected, so I'm still playing catch up.  Unfortunately, one of those surprises was my website being hacked .  I should count myself lucky as it wasn't a true hack and this is the first time in 8 years i've had a problem.  The underlying CMS i use (Joomla) was released a few weeks back and I upgraded.  Unfortunately, it had a serious security flaw in it that allowed hackers to take over the site and ultimately, all my websites that I host.  Needless to say, it took some time to get everything cleaned up and patched up being that I maintain over 100 web sites.  Luckily, only about 10 were affected.  So if you hit my site during about an 8 hour period around the 15th, you would have seen it.

Enough about that - its done and over with and I've added extra measures to make sure I have another 8 years hack free .  My real focus is on final exams right now, so i'll likely be MIA for the next 2 weeks.  The bad news is that Monika and i are now about 3 months behind on posting pictures. Hopefully i will get a bit of time in September to catch up and get those posted.
